Louisiana Traffic Stop Helps Cops Find Killer Cereal

Traveling along Interstate 12 in Louisiana is known to be a favorite route for people involved in “pharmaceutical sales”. It’s not unusual to see police with vehicles pulled over and several officers conducting searches. Colombian, Mexican and Caribbean traffickers traveling to and from Miami, Houston, or the southwest border use the I -12 as their “Highway To Hell”.

Recently, a man speeding down the stretch of I-12 near Covington, Louisiana found himself with a lot of explaining to do. Deputies spotted 23 year-old Donald Roots-Scott Jr. of Sacramento, California, as he cruised along at 90mph.When they pulled him over, he told officers that he had an expired driver’s license and some marijuana.

During the search, the deputies found 2 pounds of high grade marijuana. It had been hidden inside Honey Nut Cheerios and Cap'n Crunch's Crunch Berries cereal boxes. He told them he was taking the drugs to Mississippi for distribution.

He has been charged with possession with intent to distribute marijuana, an expired driver's license and speeding. In the future, he might want to try Lucky Charms as his cereal of choice.

Need a Kiss? There's an app for that.

Ok, we've tried online dating & using emojis to express our feelings but I think technology might have finally gone too far. Now you don't even have to be in the same room or even the same part of the world to share a kiss with someone. Thanks to the Kissenger app you can get that Good Night kiss no matter where you are.

This is being called the match of a kiss & Messenger. It has an app & the device is sort of a holder for your phone that has a silicon pad as the "lips". You first connect with the "kissee" by using the app, slip the phone in the holder & then press your lips to the silicon pad. The device will send the other person a realistic kissing sensation.

Underneath the rubbery silicon shell are “high precision force sensors” that detect the force of the kiss and then duplicate it. The lip pad has small parts, which the company claims  will create “a realistic kissing sensation.” Can't you picture a romantic Valentine's Day & you end it by kissing your phone!

But if that's not weird enough, you can also video chat through the app so you'll see each other while you're making out with this thing. Maybe it's just me but that has to be one of the creepiest things I've seen so far.

Having just recently read a story about how unsanitary our cellphones are, it doesn't make me feel very confident about this device. Can't you just see trying to explain that you got Mono or a cold sore from kissing your phone? I can tell you that this is definitely not going to be on the Brendan Spaar Christmas list anytime soon.

If you are curious (like watching reality tv) & want to learn more about it, here's a link to a video demonstrating it. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5sfMBc7vVV0
Be prepared to laugh like a fool. Don't worry, I won't judge!!
